My Why
People often ask how Compass Cove Collective began.
The truth is, it started with one little boy.
When our family began homeschooling, I watched our son grow academically—but I also saw something missing. Like so many homeschool families, we longed for meaningful friendships, shared experiences, and a community that truly understood our journey.
As a former public school teacher, I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and connected. I couldn't find exactly what I was searching for, so I decided to build it.
Compass Cove Collective was born from that simple hope: to create the kind of community I wished existed for my own family.

Our Vision
I don't dream about having the biggest homeschool community.
I dream about building one where every child feels like they belong.
If, years from now, families remember Compass Cove as the place where friendships were formed, confidence was built, and childhood was celebrated, I'll know we've done something worthwhile.
